General Overview

- Gideon was born well over a century ago in Gyr Abania where he once lived with his biological (and now also vampiric) sister, Rydia.- Some time in his twenties, Gideon was abducted and taken prisoner by a group of vampires known as Clan Mehrunes. Time spent with them is unknown but it resulted in Gideon being turned and later escaping.- He later reunited with Rydia, discovering she had also been turned by a separate vampire clan. He would travel alongside her as wandering mercenaries, staving their blood hunger on bandits for the most part.- After wandering for decades, he and Rydia landed in Kugane where they were later taken in by a Raen by the name of Momiji who has been their caretaker since then.- As of late, he operates a sanctuary of sorts to act as a safe haven for other wandering voidsent or those of extraordinary circumstances. On top of that, he's recently changed the clan name from Mehrunes to Speranza.

Cloak and Dagger

- Outside of his seemingly normal lifestyle, Gideon works under the guise of "Cloak" and "Dagger" being his Voidsent companion, Bishop.- The duo is more known for their pit fighting venture, though they've had little success but not for a lack of trying.- The two have also taken up some more covert mercenary work with the guise.- It's unknown, save for a select few, how their agreement came to be but unlike most Voidsent, Bishop is rather jovial and outgoing and rather prefers engaging conversation compared to gorging on aether.- As of late though, it's unknown if the alias is still applicable due to the recent severance in the duo's pact that has seen them become separate entities once more.

Relations

Rydia Arnold - Younger biological sister by about four years. Very protective of her as she is of him, though his standoffish nature sometimes puts him as overprotective. Regardless, the two are willing to go to great lengths to help the other given they're the only blood ties they have to their family.Momiji Ishimoto - Raen caretaker and adoptive mom. Though they butt heads on occasion, it's mostly out of the motherly Raen's concern for him as Gideon is still adapting to his current circumstances.Bishop Mayfield - Voidsent companion of some months who was initially Gideon's Avatar before an incident forced a severance. As of late, the two room together in the vampire's apartment out in Kugane, still carrying out their usual work as sellswords.Rook Fylan - A little Voidsent that Gideon met during an ordeal that had him in Garlemald. Much like Bishop, Rook is very jovial and more times than naught, still refers to Gideon as Lord Mehrunes as opposed to the vampire's actual name.Gambit - A very large Shadow Wolf that the vampire befriended shortly before meeting Rook. Though Gambit doesn't speak, he seems to already posses a strong bond with Gideon as a guard dog would with its master.Domenico "Sicily" Vrioni - The latest addition to the Voidsent family who seemed rather content with his newest surroundings. Lately, the two have severed the pact and Nico allowed to roam freely without limitations.Cherry Mizuhiki - Girlfriend whom Gideon met at Scrapyard during his various appearances at the venue. A slow burning candle, the bond between the two is evidently strong given their dynamic.The Scrapyard - A home away from home. He may not voice it all that much, but the people there as much of a family to him as his Clan and makeshift family in Kugane.

Voidsent - Gideon is an inheritor of mixed heritage and blood given his vampirism but also innate void-based powers that he can wield. It's unknown how far these powers can extend, but one would imagine that delve into study would yield answers.Contract Work - As a mercenary, Gideon is willing to take up various jobs with his own list of exceptions in mind. If someone needs a job done, they can count on his scythe as a reliable completionist.Struggles - Given his vampirism, Gideon, unlike his sister, has found it more difficult to integrate back into society at times, moreso in the social aspect though his condition hinders some of his other capabilities. Any aid, big or small, he will gradually pay back.Sparring - After an untimely incident (completely separate from his transformation), Gideon has been working on other fighting styles to try and incorporate void based powers into given his previous pacts with Bishop and Domenico, but also something that's been surfacing from within as of late.
